Botanical Name of Vallarai Keerai is Centella Asiatica. People refer it as Centella and gotu kola commonly. It is called as Asiatic pennywort or Indian pennywort. It is called as brahmi booti in Hindi, Brahmi in Marathi, saraswati aku in Telugu,  kudangal in Malayalam, ondelaga in Kannada, Vallarai keerai in Tamil.

Brahmi or Vallarai Keerai is a very popular medicinal herb used widely in India. Vallarai keerai is used to treat various diseases like fever, ulcers, and diarrhea. It is also very good for hair and skin diseases.

Vallarai Keerai\ Brahmi leaves  - 1 Bunch
Moong Dhall - 50 gms
Onion - 1 nos
Tomato - 1 nos
Chilli powder - 1/2 spoon
Turmeric  - 1/4 spoon
Garlic  - 2 nos
Red chilli - 2 Nos
Coconut - 1/4 cup
Asafoetida Powder-1/4 spoon
Vadagam - 1/2 spoon
Oil
Coriander
curry leaves
Salt to taste
